These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CyberCV service ("Service") operated by AccessPatch ("we", "us"). By accessing or purchasing the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

CyberCV is an AI-powered resume and portfolio generator designed for entry-level cybersecurity professionals. The Service uses the Claude API to generate resume content based on information you provide (certifications, platform stats, skills, and work history).

CyberCV is a career tool intended solely to help users present their legitimate skills and experience to potential employers. It is not a penetration testing tool, hacking aid, or security exploit platform.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU) to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate, current information during registration.
• You may not share, sell, or transfer your account to another person.
• We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Payments and Billing

All payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle collects payment, handles VAT/tax compliance, and remits funds to us. Your purchase is subject to Paddle's own Terms of Service.

• One-time purchase: Early access is priced at $19 USD (one-time). Access is granted immediately upon successful payment.
• Pricing changes: Future pricing (e.g., subscription tiers) will not affect early access users, who keep their one-time deal permanently.
• Refunds: We offer a full 14-day money-back guarantee. See our Refund Policy.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to generate fraudulent, misleading, or fabricated credentials or employment history.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the AI generation API.
• Share or resell access to the Service with other individuals.
• Use automated bots to generate resumes at scale.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system through the Service.
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international laws.

Violation of this section may result in immediate account termination without refund.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of the resume content and data you input. The generated resume output is yours to use freely.

The CyberCV platform, design, code, branding, and underlying AI prompts are our intellectual property and may not be copied or reproduced.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will be error-free or uninterrupted.
• AI-generated resume content will result in job interviews or offers.
• The resume content will pass every ATS system — results vary by employer.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AccessPatch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any direct damages shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will endeavour to provide reasonable notice of significant changes. Early access users are entitled to a full refund if we permanently shut down the Service within 12 months of their purchase.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date will reflect changes. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which CyberCV is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first; if unresolved, through binding arbitration.
